December 11, 2012, in a lecture hall No. 7 of the building at Szczerbcowa a meeting of a CARGOTEC representative with about 70 students from the Faculty of Economics and Transport Engineering our university was held.

A congratulatory letter from the Minister of Science and Higher Education Prof. Barbara Kudrycka sent to the Maritime University of Szczecin on the received grant funding in the amount of 1.000 000 PLN for the implementation of an innovative training program tailored to the requirements of the National Qualifications Framework. The program will be implemented at the Faculty of Navigation, the field of navigation.

During the Boatshow Fair in Lodz, (November 15-18) the Maritime University of Szczecin became a member of the International Sailing School Association. Thus, it is one of the entities that provide courses (including Skipper or yacht crew member) with their diplomas and patents recognized in Europe, USA, Australia and New Zealand.

E-Maritime Conference - Annual Conference 2012: Connecting the maritime world - towards 2020

22-23.11.2012, in Brussels the annual international conference e-Maritime Annual Conference 2012: Connecting the maritime world - towards 2020, took place. The conference was dedicated to the concept of e-Sea, developed by the EU, as well as the wider use of advanced IT and ICT technologies in the maritime countries, EU members. The main objective of the concept of e-Sea is to stimulate and support the search for effective solutions to cooperation, interoperability and effectiveness of transport stakeholders in the maritime area.

1,000,000 PLN funding for the field of navigation of the Maritime University of Szczecin to implement an innovative curriculum

The field of navigation at the Faculty of Navigation, Maritime University of Szczecin will receive from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education 1.000 000 PLN grant for the implementation of a training program in accordance with the National Qualifications Framework (NQF).
