Marine RescueTraining Center is committed to provide top quality service to all of our students participating in the organized training. Apart from the lectures, the center staff also seeks to provide full safety to students during their compulsory practical exercises.
Therefore, on the last Saturday 27.10.2012, in the center a training coursefor coaches of ‘Personal Survival Techniques’washeld. The training consisted of exercises concerning emergencies the coaches had planned that may occur during practical classes conducted in water. The Head of OSRM Druchniak Adrian, Cpt. Jan Nowak and the staff members of the Department of Rescue and Maritime Security: Górtowska Marzena, MSc, Zbigniew Ferlas, PhD, Master Mariner and Capt. Konrad Stafiej participated in the training. The exercises were designed to prepare coaches for a quick and proper response to health or life emergencies of students participating in water exercises.
The conducted training will also allow to implement appropriate procedures referring to various types of threats while exercising in the water.
This type of trainings will be organized in OSRM at least once a year, and coaches taking part in them in the first place will be chosen from the whole group of all instructors to conduct exercises.
