The conference, organized by the Silesian University of Technology, began in Katowice, (Krakow - Pyrzowice Airport) to be continued in Ustroń Slaski. The covered issues related to telematics in its general sense, as well as its use in transport.

Over a hundred scholars and practitioners, mainly from Europe, representing all modes of transport, participated in the conference, attended also by employees of the Department of Navigation: Assoc. Prof. Zbigniew Pietrzykowski, MUS, and Mariusz Dramski, PhD, who gave their presentations:

• Marine navigational integrated Decision Support System, Authors: Z. Pietrzykowski, P. Borkowski, P. Wołejsza
• Selected shortest path in the graph algorithms with the use of trapezoidal grid in navigation in restricted area, Authors: M. Dramski, M. Maka.

The papers enjoyed great interest from the conference participants.
