Artur Bejger, PhD, was awarded with a distinction by the Jury during the Technicon Innovations Gdansk 2012 for ‘Device for non-invasive diagnosing of Diesel engines fuel injection systems

The invention was presented at the INNOVATIONS competition in the category of ‘Land, water and air transport’.
The instrument registers and analyzes changes of frequency of the signal associated with a Diesel engine injection system. The invention’s specificity is enhanced by the fact that at present, especially in the case of marine engines, there is no equipment for non-invasive diagnosing of fuel injection systems. Moreover, the device can be applied to modified engines to be installed on LNG vessels for transporting liquefied gas with dual fuel-gas systems.
