November 6, 2012 in the Hall of Tradition of the Maritime University of Szczecin in the presence of the President of Polaris Maritime Services Ltd, Captain Michal Czerepaniak, and Vice Rector for Maritime Affairs, Andrzej Bak, PhD, Master Mariner, grant agreements were signed.
The scholarship holders turned out 5 second year students of the Mechanical Engineering Faculty and a third year student of the Faculty of Navigation.
The agreements provide students with non-repayable grants till the end of their studies, a seamanship practice and after graduation they will be offered a two year contract on ships belonging to the sponsors or under the sponsors’ management. This is another proof that Hamburg Sued Group and Polaris Maritime Services go for young, ambitious people who want to consciously pursue their careers. The idea of scholarships has become very popular since they provide both better conditions for students to study and the owner with young, ambitious, well-trained professionals
