Last week there was a meeting in the West Pomeranian Department of the Polish Association of the Deaf attended by Jacek Frydecki, MSc, vice-dean of the Faculty of Navigation and Piotr Borkowski, PhD, Deputy Director of the Institute of Marine Technology.
The meeting was to establish preliminary details of a long-term collaboration between the Maritime University of Szczecin and the Polish Association of the Deaf.
Particularly, the need for employment of a sign language interpreter for future students in Computer Sciences was discussed. Fragments of the talks were recorded by the Polish Radio Szczecin and are available at http://www.radioszczecin.pl.
