The Cup of Poland for sailors of the Maritime University of Szczecin

On the last weekend of August (24-25.08) were held the last preliminaries for the Cup of Poland, which went on to the hands of our crew ! Regatta were played in the marina ' Pod Omega ' in Iława, a very large and beautiful body of water , but by its shape and the surrounding tall trees ungrateful to racing.

MUS workers on the first Rally of the Graduates of Top 500 Innovators Program

The rally of the Program alumni was held on 8-10 July in Mazurkas Conference Centre & Hotel in Ożarow Mazowiecki near Warsaw. The event was attended by nearly 150 alumni and invited guests, among whom were the Minister of Science and Higher Education Prof. Barbara Kudrycka and Deputy Head of Mission at the U.S. Embassy in Poland, Mr. Douglas C. Greene.

Our university is the first in Western Pomerania that has licensed its academics - creators of technology valued more than € 250 000. The license will enable them to create a business partner of the company and market NAVDEC system (navigation system of decision support).

The success of our scientist at the prestigious LEADER program

National Centre for Research and Development announced the results of the fourth contest in the LEADER Program. The Director of the Centre, Professor Krzysztof Jan Kurzydłowski, based on the ranking list drawn up by the two-stage recruitment procedure, decided to finance 41 projects with a total value of 43 692 853 PLN.

Subsequent elimination of the Polish Cup fell into the hands of the Maritime University sailors

On 29-30 June, on the waters of Lake Powidzkie in Marina of the Sailing Club Horn, Kosewo (near Słupca) the 5th elimination of the Polish Yachting Cup was held. This was the third event for our team composed of Bartosz Piotrowski and Karol Krzyzanowski, which took the top place on the podium.

The Faculty of Marine Engineering has been donated 1.8 million PLN from the EU on the development of quality education in the mechatronics.

MARINE POWER project, which was submitted in October 2012 under the measure 4.3 by the Faculty of Marine Engineering with the support of Marine Technology Transfer Center, has received funding from the National Centre for Research and Development in the amount of 1.8 million PLN. These funds will be used to improve the quality of courses in mechatronics.
