Between 20 - 21.05.2013 in Olsztyn was held the XLII International Seminar of Scientific Clubs entitled: SCIENTIFIC CLUBS-THE SCHOOL OF CREATIVE ACTIVITY, the whole event under the patronage of the University of Warmia and Mazury.
Divided into several sections and panels, the Seminar was attended by four students of the Maritime University of Szczecin. The geodetic science section presented three papers:
- Mobile Laser Scanning based on the way in Wloclawek, by Alexandra Rybczynska and Olga Gireń
- Sonars side - on the basis of imaging the bottom of the Klodny /log/ bridge remains in Szczecin, by Ewelina Jankowska
- Using ArcGIS for historical analyses based on the Battle of Raclawice, by Adrian Gersztof
Among the 14 delivered scientific papers, the works of our third year students of Geodesy and Cartography proved to be unbeatable. The Second place went to Ewelina Jankowska, the whole section won Adrian Gersztof.
