The trainees of the sailing project implemented by the Maritime Training Center in Kolobrzeg won the Grand Prix of Regatta Yacht Club Kolobrzeg and took the 2nd position in more than 8 meters class. Competition inaugurated the sailing season of 2013.
Representatives of the Maritime University of Szczecin within the framework of the project ‘Promoting environmental awareness through sailing eco-tourism’ sailed Atair yacht (Bavaria 40) led by Captain Marcin Koca, the crew was formed of the project trainees, group VI IS - Bogumil Gołąbek, Jakub Rajca, Krzysztof Ziejewski and Jakub Wojciechowski
The regatta took place on 26 May in the newly opened Solna Marina in Kolobrzeg - yachts competed in two classes: up to 8 and more than 8 meters.
