June 11 was the fourth ‘round table’ meeting at the Maritime University of Szczecin, organized as part of a C-LIEGE project.
June 11, 2013 at the headquarters of the Maritime University was held on the fourth working meeting of the Project C-LIEGE (Clean Last Mile Transportation and Logistics Management for Smart an Efficient Local Governments in Europe - A Clean Transport Management and Logistics in the last mile needs Wise and Efficient Local Administration in Europe).
The purpose of the C-LIEGE project is to promote modern, consistent with sustainable development practices in logistics transportation. It involves the 11 European countries and Szczecin is one of seven pilot cities, testing the proposed solutions. The project involves research centers, public institutions and business representatives. The meeting was run by a local coordinator, Stanislaw Iwan, PhD. Project of the Faculty of Economics and Transport Engineering, was attended by members of the project team of Polish and German, as well as invited guests. Among them were representatives of the Institute of Transport Economics, Oslo.
The main purpose of the meeting was to present the progress in the implementation of urban logistics solutions adopted for bristles on previous meetings, as well as provide a timetable for future action.
