We encourage you to participate in a unique program of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education Top 500 Innovators. The initiative aims at improving the qualifications of Polish staff of R & D in cooperation with the economy, management and commercialization of the research results.
Who can join the program?
Academics and Polish scientific research and technology transfer center staff.
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
It is a 9-week internship-training program at the best schools in the world according to Shanghai ranking (Academic Ranking of World Universities), such as Stanford University, the University of California at Berkeley and the University of Cambridge.
KEY ASSUMPTIONS
- Largest ever training program for those involved in research and commercialization of the results
- By 2015, a total of 500 people will undergo the training program.
- The Ministry shall finance costs of training, flight, accommodation, meals, insurance, visas and give participants lump sum allowances for additional living expenses during the trip.
- Participants in the program will be able to watch the operation of foreign companies, where commercialization of research results plays an important role, meet with entrepreneurs and venture capital representatives, as well as, validate and enrich their ideas on the subject and methods of research.
- The Ministry will support participants’ innovative activities in the program in 2013-2015 in the fields of technology transfer and commercialization of research results. The previous edition of the program was attended by an employee of CTTM, Maritime University, Konrad Frontczak. This year Dorota Idziaszczyk, the worker of the center, and Leszek Chybowski, PhD, Faculty of Marine Engineering, participate in the program. Witold Kazimierski, PhD and Piotr Wołejsza, the Faculty of Navigation, are going in autumn.
