The State Maritime School commemorated

The State Maritime School was located in the building in Wały Chrobrego Street in the years 1963-72. A stone commemorating this fact was officially unveiled on Saturday morning, right before the Inauguration Ceremony of the academic year at the Maritime University of Szczecin.

Spain conquered

The Choir of the Maritime University of Szczecin conducted by Sylwia Fabiańczyk-Makuch took part, last week (13-18.09), in the 6th International Choral Competition "CANÇÒ MEDITERRÀNIA" in Lloret de Mar/Barcelona. The Szczecin ensemble, following a fierce fight, won the highest distinctions: three Gold Diplomas in the categories of sacred, folklore and pop music.

Grand Prix for the Choir of the Maritime University of Szczecin at the 51st International Choral Festival in Międzyzdroje!

During the 51st edition of the International Choral Festival in Międzyzdroje, which was held in the period 19-24 June this year, the five-person choir of the Maritime University conducted by Sylwia Fabiańczyk - Makuch had its triumph in the modern music contest receiving the Golden Diploma, the Award of the Town Mayor of Międzyzdroje and, most of all, the Grand Prix title of the best choir from among all the festival choirs. The ensemble received many positive opinions from members of the international jury headed by Professor Ryszard Zimak, who especially appreciated the musicality, the artistic values and the vocal culture of the ensemble.
