At the end of October, the 70th anniversary meeting of the IMO's Marine Environment Committee - MEPC was held in London. In the period 4-6 November 2016, members of our "Metitri" Scientific Association together with their supervisor, Grzegorz Stępień, PhD, had the pleasure of visiting the historical Palace in Siemczyno (Drawskie Lake District) to conduct measurements thanks to the invitation from Mr Bogdan Andziak - the owner of the facility and Vice-President of the Henry's Association in Siemczyno.

The State Maritime School commemorated

The State Maritime School was located in the building in Wały Chrobrego Street in the years 1963-72. A stone commemorating this fact was officially unveiled on Saturday morning, right before the Inauguration Ceremony of the academic year at the Maritime University of Szczecin.
