On 30th September and 1st October the Maritime University of Szczecin will hold its Opening Ceremony of the academic year 2016/2017.

Central Cemetery in Szczecin
6.00 pm
- solemn roll-call by the Monument in memory of those who were lost at sea
1st October 2016 (Saturday) Jana z Kolna street (at the foot of the Waly Chrobrego/Chrobry Enbankments)
11.00 am
- report to the Minister and inspection of student units
- inauguration speech by the Rector of MUS
- matriculation ceremony and students’ pledge
- speeches
- presentation ceremony of PhD diplomas, decorations and awards
12.00 am
- parents’ meeting with Deans and tour of the University
