The Polish Steamship Company will test samples of fuels for its vessels in the Centre for Fuel and Pressure Fluid Testing and Environmental Protection of the Maritime University of Szczecin.
The agreement between the ship operator and the university was signed on Wednesday, 28th September 2016 by the General Director of Polish Steamship Company, Paweł Szynkaruk and the Rector of the Maritime University of Szczecin, Wojciech Ślączka.
The Centre for Fuel and Pressure Fluid Testing and Environmental Protection is a modern laboratory combining highly qualified experts of the Maritime University of Szczecin with the latest technologically advanced equipment. These are solid foundations not only for scientific research, but also for commercial cooperation.
The operator of the unit is Centrum Innowacji Akademii Morskiej Sp. z o.o (The Innovation Centre of the Maritime University in Szczecin). - The new client of the Centre may count on quick and effective assessment of fuel samples - assures Konrad Frontczak, the President of CIAM.
