For the needs of a diploma paper in the Institute of Geoinformatics of the Maritime University of Szczecin, students from the Scientific Association of Geodesy and Cartography "METIRI" prepared a project of a three-dimensional visualisation of the Quistorp tower located in Arkoński Forest in Szczecin.

Navitec 2016 Conference

In the period 14-16.12.2016 the Navitec 2016 was held in ESTEC Noordwijk in Holand. The conference has been organised regularly for 8 years by ESA (European Space Agency) in cooperation with CNES, DLR and University of the Federal Armed Forces Munich.

On 6th December, the female and male Swimming Championships were held at the swimming pool of the Maritime University. The competitors were students from our University who swam at the distance of 50 m in freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke and butterfly as well as a 4 x 50 m freestyle relay race.

In the period 4-6 November 2016, members of our "Metitri" Scientific Association together with their supervisor, Grzegorz Stępień, PhD, had the pleasure of visiting the historical Palace in Siemczyno (Drawskie Lake District) to conduct measurements thanks to the invitation from Mr Bogdan Andziak - the owner of the facility and Vice-President of the Henry's Association in Siemczyno.
