Scientific and business cooperation between Maritime University and Enea

The Maritime University of Szczecin has begun another academic year - inauguration 2017/18
Traditionally, the academic year began with an official ceremony - the Saturday matriculation of students at the foot of Wały Chrobrego and a solemn but intimate roll-call by the Monument in memory of Those who were lost at sea in the Central Cemetery in Szczecin.

The "Academic Paper Chase" integration game was organised on Monday, 18th September, at the Maritime University of Szczecin. The participants were foreign students who will soon begin their education in the first year at the Maritime University
2 million zlotys for students’ work placements!
MUS has obtained almost 2 million zlotys for work placements for first-cycle students as a part of the project TIME FOR WORK PLACEMENT II. The project will be carried out in the period from January 2018 to September 2019
The crews of STS Mir and Kruzenshtern at MUS
The Tall Ships 2017 in Szczecin were a great opportunity for meetings on boards of vessels - the crews of Kruzenshtern and Mir visited the board of Nawigator XXI and our students with the ship's crew paid a visit to both tall ships. Yet, this is not the end of hospitable meetings. The crews of the tall ships taking part in The Tall Ships Races 2017 also visited the Maritime University building in Wały Chrobrego.
Three times the Choir!
A great sailing celebration - The Tall Ships Races 2017 final in Szczecin was simultaneously an opportunity for the Choir of the Maritime University of Szczecin to get involved in three big artistic events. This is a huge success of the ensemble conducted by Sylwia Fabiańczyk-Makuch.

Students of the Faculty of Economics and Engineering of Transport examined yacht ports in Germany
In the period 12 – 13.07.2017, as a part of the project South Coast Baltic, a survey was conducted among sailors in selected yacht ports in Germany, Poland, Denmark and Lithuania. The aim of the study was to learn about the preferences of sailors as regards selecting sailing routes and the activities undertaken in the visited towns.

An agreement on cooperation between the Maritime University of Szczecin and the town of Kędzierzyn-Koźle as well as the Kędzierzyn-Koźle District was signed on Thursday, 13 July 2017, in Opole.

An innovative laboratory of virtual and augmented reality systems has been established at the MUS Faculty of Navigation - it is one of the first units in the world using VR and AR possibilities for the needs of maritime industry.
Journey back in time. Graduates visited MUS
Almost 300 people - graduates of maritime schools, which have functioned in Szczecin for 70 years - took part in celebrations of the 70th anniversary of Maritime Education in West Pomerania.
The story of one school - the State Marine Fishery School was established 55 years ago
A plaque commemorating the 55th anniversary of the establishment of the State Marine Fishery School was unveiled in the building of today's Maritime University of Szczecin. The School was located in the building in Wały Chrobrego in the years 1962-67.
70 years ago in Piastów Alley
The Faculty of Navigation of the State Maritime School was established in 1947. The school was, then, situated in Piastów Alley and gave beginning to maritime education in Szczecin.
On the Szczecin school fairway
One of the events taking place at Maritime University of Szczecin during the 70th anniversary of Maritime Education in West Pomerania was a book launching. The work by Professor Aleksander Walczak - "On the Szczecin School Fairway. Memories of the Maritime School Rector" was lunched on the board of Nawigator XXI.
