Last October we informed that the Scientific Journals of the Maritime University of Szczecin was included in the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI).
Since July 2017 our quarterly’s papers have started to be indexed by the Web of Science Core Collection database currently owned by Clarivate Analytics. The Web of Science platform counts citations for each article, what directly affects the bibliometric indicators of other articles indexed before by that database as well as citation intensity of each researcher. For our authors it is then a great opportunity to present their research on the international forum and improve their quantitative scientific indicators. And for our quarterly it is a possibility to increase the number of citations and get closer to the ISI Master Journal List.
