The choir is to sing in Canada

On 26th June, the choir of the Maritime University of Szczecin begins its journey overseas to represent the university, the region and Poland on the International Choral Kathaumixw festival held between 2nd and 8th July in Powell River in Canada. The ensemble is the only one from Poland and one of two representatives of Europe (except for Slovakia) during the festival!

An unmanned vessel is closer - the first models are already being created at MUS

Employees of the Department of Ocean Technology and Shipbuilding of the Maritime University of Szczecin are building a model of an unmanned vessel. The design of the vessel model was finished in March 2018. Currently, the hull is being built, soon the propulsion will be installed and the first trials on water will begin.

MUS supports inland navigation in Wrocław

The World Maritime Days are an opportunity for meetings on the international level. Yet, there were also many opportunities for contacts with guests from Poland. On the occasion of this year's maritime conference, on Friday, 15th June, the Maritime University of Szczecin signed an agreement on cooperation with the Technical Secondary School of Inland Navigation in Wrocław.

Students’ regatta on the Odra River

The Academic Szczecin Championship Regatta were held on the Odra River last Saturday (16th June). This was the first sports competition of this type in the history of the region initiated by students of the Maritime University of Szczecin from the sailing section of the Academic Sports Association. It was held in the North East Marina on Grodzka Island on the Odra River.
