Dnia 2-go kwietnia odbyło się nasze kolejne spotkanie Pod Masztami. Frekwencja jak zwykle dopisała. Spotkanie prowadził Prezes. Omówiono tematy:

Maritime University of Szczecin received a diploma from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education
Maritime University of Szczecin received a diploma from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education for a project entitled "The positioning of vessels maneuvering in port waters and fairways." The creator of the project is Assoc. Professor. Lucjan Gucma, MUS.
The MUS students took part in workshops on Ship Inspection Simulator
The MUS students took part in workshops on inspection of the ship simulator, organized by Students' Scientific Association METACENT in Det Norske Veritas (DNV) in Gdynia.
Maritime University of Szczecin at CeBIT in Hannover
On 6-10.03.2012 Maritime University took part in major international trade fair of information technologies and digital industry, CeBIT 2012 in Hanover. Show theme was "Safety in the digital world" (Managing Trust).
First “round table” meeting of the C-LIEGE Project at the Maritime University of Szczecin
23rd February 2012, in the premises of the Maritime University of Szczecin the first working meeting of the C-LIEGE project was held. The meeting was attended by project team members of C-LIEGE from Szczecin and Germany, as well as university and business representatives of the City of Szczecin, West Marshal's Office, the Regional Police Headquarters and the Board of Maritime Ports of Szczecin and Swinoujscie.

Since the beginning of the calendar year Maritime University has been participating in education fairs at home and abroad, presenting its range of courses. This is an excellent opportunity for high school graduates to obtain information about our university.
Marine Technology Transfer Centre is looking for an interns or volunteers
CTTM offers interns and volunteers an opportunity to gain experience in work related to technology transfer, implementation of EU projects, organization of conferences, coordination of student exchange under the Erasmus program, the implementation of promotional and informational activities, etc.
Free preparatory course for high school math examination
The Maritime University launched a free training to the matriculation examination in mathematics at a basic and advanced levels.
Classes start this week and shall be run by experienced university teachers.
MUS helps in obtaining grants for starting a business
Maritime University plans to prepare a project co-financed with EU funds, under which the University would raise funds for training and one-off grants for starting own businesses.
Statement concerning the theft of graduates’ and students’ data
In connection to the media information on the theft of personal data of the Maritime University students, the University states that there was no intrusion on university servers, there has been no break of network security. Publicly available data do not come from the Virtual University- Dean’s office electronic system.
International internships for students of MUS
In summer 2012, the best students of the Faculty of Marine Engineering, Maritime University of Szczecin, will go on one month long international internships. Each student will receive more than three thousand PLN and gain valuable experience.
Free Fall Lifeboat course for the future lecturers of MRTC.
The Marine Rescue Training Centre of Maritime University in Szczecin organized a special teaching Free Fall Lifeboat course for future rescue techniques lecturers.
Cooperation between Marine Rescue Training Centre and Marine Training Centre during Personal Survival Techniques course.
As a result of bad weather conditions in the first half of February (very low temperatures, ice flow on the Oder River) training centers in Szczecin couldn’t organize any practical drills in the water and consequently cancelled the courses.

Morze Bałtyckie – ciągle niepoznane z niezidentyfikowanymi obiektami na dnie. Dziwne wzniesienia i zagłębienia w dnie. Co może się kryć pod warstwą żwiru i piasku morskiego.

Dnia 10-go listopada 2012 odbył się nasz kolejny – 9-ty BAL ŚLEDZIOŁAPA. Za rok będzie jubileusz naszej tradycji. Czy koledzy pamiętają nasze skromne początki????
