FACULTY OF NAVIGATION 

The Faculty provides education at both BSc and MSc levels in the fields of Navigation, Geodesy, Survey and Cartography and Geoinformatics. FoN is among the major maritime educational institutions in Europe. We train navigators, deck officers, naval architects and other professionals with a multi-skilled, not only maritime qualification package. A substantial number of our graduates also find employment on land (ports, shipping companies, surveying services, local and government administration). The internship onboard our training/research m/s Nawigator XXI is an integral aspect of the MUS maritime education process.

In the field of studies in Navigation, the Faculty (BSc) offers the following specialization (in English):

At the Master of Science level in Navigation (MSc - in English), the Faculty offers a specialization:

In the field of studies in Geodesy, Surveying and Cartography (MSc) Faculty offers the following specializations (in Polish only):

• Geoinformatics,
• Hydrography.

In the field of studies in Naval Architecture and Shipbuilding, the Faculty offers the following specializations (in Polish only):

• Ship Design and Construction,
• Yacht Design and Construction.

In the field of studies in Inland Navigation, the Faculty offers the following specializations (in Polish only):

• Operation of Maritime and Inland Waterway Vessels,
• Management of Inland Waterway Shipping.

The Faculty recognises that the development of information technology determines the contemporary directions of economic and social development, and we want to keep up to date with the latest trends and participate in their creation. The Faculty's education system aims to empower our students with the skills to move freely in the field of modern and ever-changing information technology. Artificial intelligence, advanced programming, the Internet of Things, Big Data, database management, and computer networks, robot programming are only a few topics that our students can choose from when deciding to study with us.

 FACULTY OF ECONOMICS AND TRANSPORT ENGINEERING

Our graduates work in the broadly defined sector of transport, logistics and shipping (logistics centres, ports, transport companies, airports, container terminals). They are experts in computer-modeled systems supporting the transfer of information. The Faculty's study programme has been developed with the latest digital methods and technologies in transport, shipping and logistics. Many projects are focused on practical issues of integrated transport systems in urban areas.

FACULTY OF MARINE ENGINEERING

Are you looking for a career in mechanical engineering? The competencies of our graduates acquired during their studies can be used in various areas of the economy, from the broadly defined maritime economy, through the energy sector to the mining industry. With many industry links, our Faculty always keeps in touch with the latest trends. The Maritime University of Szczecin is the right place to learn key principles of engineering theory and practice - we have our own training ship - Nawigator XXI, VR simulator, and a range of specialized labs.

In the field of study in Mechanical Engineering (BSc, MSc in Polish) the Faculty offers the following specializations:

• Marine Power Plant Operation,
• Marine Power and Electric Power Plant Operation,
• Marine Machine and Equipment Diagnosis and Repairs.

  In English, in the Mechanical Engineering course, there is one specialization available:

• Marine Power Plant Operation.

In the field of study in Industrial Engineering and Offshore Wind Turbines (in Polish only), the Faculty offers the following specializations:

• Wind Turbine Operation,
• Industrial system Diagnostics.

FACULTY OF MECHATRONICS AND ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING

The Faculty offers 2 kinds of courses in Polish only. Mechatronics is an interdisciplinary field of engineering that combines mechanics, electronics and electrical engineering, IT, automation and robotics. It is a synergistic combination of these. Pursuing a degree in mechatronics will allow you to gain a versatile and modern set of technical skills with the opportunity of working on land and alternatively at sea, in always well-paid jobs.

In the field of studies in Mechatronics (Bsc) the Faculty offers the following specializations: 

• Mechatronics and Industrial Electrical Engineering,
• Operation of Electrical Power Systems.

The Faculty offers also a course in the field of studies in Automation and Robotics (BSc)
