On 02.09.2013 our university hosted representatives of all the companies executing the construction of the LNG terminal in Swinoujscie. It was a working visit, and its main objective was to exchange information on the current state of the construction of the LNG terminal in Poland and the harmonization of liquefied natural gas supply to our country.
The visit was also attended by the representatives of Qatar Gas Ltd. - a company that will supply liquefied gas into the newly built terminal in Swinoujscie
Maritime University of Szczecin is the chief consultant of Polish LNG SA, realizing the construction of the marine terminal. Performed at our university expertises include, inter alia, simulation studies using the most modern in Poland traffic simulators (FMBS - called full mission bridge simulator) and liquid cargo handling simulator (LCHS).
Research in the field of maritime safety carried out at the Maritime University of Szczecin are in accordance with the highest international standards, as confirmed by the granted accreditations of the classification societies, shipowners and many maritime administrations.
