As a part of scientific and technical cooperation between the Maritime University of Szczecin and PGE Górnictwo i Energetyka Konwencjonalna S.A. (The PGE Capital Group - Lignite Mining and Conventional Power Generation), sponsoring agreements were signed on 6th May 2015 concerning financial support for three undertakings of scientific and didactic nature:
