2025 MEWy competition "Trends and Visions for Offshore Wind Energy Development" awards ceremony was held at the Marshal's Office in Szczecin

This year, the level of MEWy competition was very high, and the entries submitted were both innovative and imaginative.

|  Here are the winners of the MEWy 2025 Competition:

Secondary school students category:
  • 1st place - Marcel Rudnicki - Chocianów,
  • 2nd place - TEAM: Aleksandra Ejsmont and Wiktor Pszczółkowski - Szczecin,
  • 3rd place - TEAM: Szymon Sałapata, Jędrzej Strzelczyk, Michał Chomicz - Słupsk.
Best secondary school students from the West Pomeranian Region category:
  • 1st place - TEAM: Aleksandra Ejsmont and Wiktor Pszczółkowski - Szczecin 
  • 2nd place - Filip Wojsz - Łobez 
  • 3rd place - TEAM: Marcel Ćwikła and Gabriela Ćwikła - Łobez.
Student category:  
1st place - TEAM: Michał Ślufarski, Oliwia Narajczyk, Jan Bujalski, Tadeusz Pilecki - Warsaw University of Technology, 
2nd place - TEAM: Małgorzata Stępniewska, Eng. Michał Reguła - Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences
3rd place - Mateusz Lichoń - Wrocław University of Science and Technology.

The students received diplomas, cash prizes and statuettes funded by the Marshal's Office of the West Pomeranian Region. The secondary school students received diplomas, vouchers to be redeemed in selected shops, statuettes and free admission to the Maritime University of Szczecin. In addition, MUS also awarded free admission to secondary school students who qualified for the second stage of the competition.

 |  The ceremony was attended by many prominent guests, including:

  • Bogdan Jaroszewicz, Member of the Board of the West Pomeranian Region,
  • Marlena Ballak, Chief Specialist in the Office for Safety and Energy of the Marshal's Office 
  • Artur Bejger, Vive-Rector for Science of the Maritime University of  Szczecin
