We are pleased to inform that during the finals of the Tall Ships Races 2013, on board STS Fryderyk Chopin, the ceremony of presenting commemorative medals of the 65th anniversary of the Polish Yachting in West Pomerania, took place.
The medals were presented by Zbigniew Zalewski, PhD, the chairman of the West Pomeranian Yachting Association and one of the awarded persons was His Magnificence Rector of the Maritime University of Szczecin, Prof. Stanislaw Gucma, Master Mariner, accompanied by the Vice Rector for Teaching, Piotr Treichel, PhD.
During his speech, the Rector emphasised that the distinction belongs not only to him but to the whole Maritime University of Szczecin.
