On 25.10.2017, the Choir of the Maritime University of Szczecin conducted by Sylwia Fabiańczyk-Makuch, PhD. took part in the opening ceremony of the 2nd Transport Ministers' Meeting (TMM) as well as the Central-Eastern Europe and China Business Forum held in the National Stadium in Warsaw.
The ensemble was invited to perform before the international assembly by the Minister of Maritime Economy and Inland Navigation. The concert of the choir emphasised the maritime nature of the event and received many words of appreciation.
The meeting in Warsaw was attended by delegates from 16 European counties and China, including ministers of transport, ministers of maritime affairs, vice ministers, representatives of the shipyard industry, including the largest sea ports of Central and Eastern Europe. Other participants of the meeting included representatives of Polish and foreign business connected with maritime economy and inland navigation, directors of banking and investment institutions.
