The basic objective of „LNG Transport and Terminal Operation” studies is instructing and preparing the staff of engineers for the work on transport, machinery, re-gasification systems, storage and LNG transfer related positions. Its main focus is to equip the students with knowledge and skills concerning e.g. fundamentals of cryogenics, physics/chemistry of liquefied gases, heat exchangers, industrial automation, net gas and LNG transport as well as technological processes connected with LNG industry in its broad sense and safe terminal operation.
The studies are meant for university graduates, specializing or intending to specialize in the subject of on – shore LNG transport and on – shore LNG discharge terminals.
The studies are arranged by the Faculty of Marine Engineering of the MU of Szczecin at the cooperation of the Faculty of Drilling, Oil and Gas (AGH University of Science and Technology of Krakow) with the Faculty of Marine Engineering of Szczecin as the leading unit.
- Time of launching the study
Organization, number of hours and the form of classes – evening, weekend
The studies cover 210 hours of lectures, classes and laboratory classes held twice a month (Friday after 14.00 and Saturday) in the classrooms and laboratories of the Maritime University of Szczecin. 3 sessions are expected to be carried out in Krakow at the AGH University of Science and Technology of Krakow).
NOTICE! Trip, accommodation and catering will be covered by the students themselves. Post graduate studies start in February 2011 and last till the end of February 2012.
