This year, accompanied by beautiful weather, there were 9 teams competing and one guest team taking part in one race - the representation of the Kazimierz Wielki University in Bydgoszcz. First, there was a competition between the teams representing individual Faculties of the Maritime University. After three races, the Cup of the Rector went again to the Faculty of Marine Engineering, followed by the Faculty of Economics and Transport Engineering before the Faculty of Navigation.

The next elimination round was time races, which placed the teams on the final ladder. There were two female teams competing in this round (“Sad Fatties” and “Prince$$es”). The former ones turned out to be better and won the cup and the prize for the best female team. In this round, the Marine Engineers’ team achieved the best time result.

The final round was very fierce and the winning teams beat their rivals only by a few meters. Finally, in the final, the team of the Faculty of Economics and Transport Engineering beat the Master’s Degree students (“Seasonals”) and the 3rd place went to two teams: the Faculty of Marine Engineering and “Blue Scorpios”.

The races were followed by the final ceremony, during which guests from the University authorities (in the photos), whom we would like to thank for their attendance, handed the cups and awards for the best teams.

All participants, guests invited and supporters enjoyed roasted sausages, cold drinks and a wonderful atmosphere.
