On 17-19 September 2013, was held a study visit to Stavanger, combined with a conference on the current situation of the LNG market in the southern Baltic Sea.
The purpose of the visit, organized as part of the Martech LNG Project was to enable the exchange of knowledge, experience and establish business contacts between representatives of companies and organizations active in the LNG.
The first day of the conference was organized to present the world’s largest LNG-powered ship m/s ‘Stavangerfjord’
Another highlight was the tour of the LNG terminal in the port SKANGASS Risavika.
The meeting was attended by representatives from over 50 companies, organizations and institutions from 11 different countries.
The Polish team included representatives of PLNG, PGNiG and the Maritime University of Szczecin, represented by Stefan Jankowski and Marcin Przywarty.
