Students from a school complex near Kiev visited Szczecin again this year. In the summer, they had a sightseeing tour of the West Pomerania Province capital and its surrounding areas and, this time, they came to find out about the educational offer of Szczecin as an academic centre.
While staying in our city for over a week, they also paid a visit to the Maritime University of Szczecin.
At our University, they had an opportunity to get acquainted with the Planetarium, the simulators in the Marine Traffic Engineering Centre and the Engine Room Laboratory. Moreover, they had a meeting with the City Mayor, Piotr Krzystek, and the traveller, Aleksander Doba, as well as visited the building of the West Pomerania Province Office. This was another visit of the young people, who came here at the invitation of Jacek Janiak, the Director of Słowianin Culture Centre.
