On 23.03.2013, in the Szczecin swimming ‘Floating Arena’, which last year hosted the European Championship players, this year the A AMP semi-finals in swimming took place.

The event was attended by nearly 300 swimmers and coaches from 22 universities of the following provinces: West, Pomerania, Pomerania Kujawy and Wielkopolska. The organizer of the championships was the Maritime University of Szczecin, which held the competition in the current formula

The beginning of the championship was its grand opening, which apart from the traditional ceremony included a maritime character. So it was ‘breaking glasses’, the Maritime University choir sang a song of sea, and students in their uniforms added a special maritime accent.

Among the invited guests was Vice-Rector for teaching Piotr Treichel, PhD, who received a report of readiness for the competition from the vice president of KU AD MUS Norbert Marchewka, MA. The event was honored by the presence of the President of the Sports Student Club Przemysław Rajewski, PhD and former President of the Club, Zbigniew Szozda, PhD who cheered and handed out diplomas and awards to the best contestants of each competition.
