Maritime University of Szczecin staff and students are actively involved in youth exchange project under the auspices of the Centre for Polish - Russian Dialogue and Understanding.
The guiding objective of the project is to establish long-term cooperation between universities in terms of joint research projects, educational and cultural activities.
Representatives of the St. Petersburg State University of Communications - one of the oldest universities in Europe, founded in 1809, visited the Maritime University of Szczecin on 23 October 2013.
The guests were welcomed by the Rector of the Maritime University, Professor Stanislaw Gucma, Master Mariner. The University of St. Petersburg was represented by the Dean Maksim Panchenko, Mrs. Elena Sugakova and a group of ten students.
The delegation visited, inter alia, multi-purpose navigation and maneuvering simulator of CIRM, GMDSS laboratory, LNG simulator and the engine room simulator lab.
