Careers Officeorganizes 20 three-month paid work placements in companies for students and graduates in the project "Development and promotion of technical studies at the Maritime University of Szczecin." Call for internships and receiving application forms begins from May, 7th 2012 from 10.00 am.
During theinternship you shall:
- work a minimum of 24 hours per week,
- perform the duties specified in the contract, be taken care of by a company worker,
- gain experience
After completing the internship you shall:
- receive a salary for a period of three months,
- receive references from the company and a statement of the end of your internship and ... perhaps a proposal for further cooperation.
What should you doto get an internship?
- Download the application form and fill it in;
- Bring the form to the dean’s office and ask them to fill in the appropriate boxes (also alumni);
- Collect the required certificates;
- Bring the form with your index book to the Careers Office(from 10:00 - 13:00);
- Wait for the announcement of the ranking list at the Careers Service and on thehttp://mechatronika.am.szczecin.pl
NOTE: Applications for internships are accepted until 18 May 2012 till 13:00.
What requirements should you meet to get an internship?
First: Be a student or a graduate of the Maritime University of Szczecin.
Second: Get as many points as possible for:
- your grade average of the last year of study,
- activity in the life of the university,
- knowledge of foreign languages
Third: Meet the basic needs of employers.
