Powerboat Steersman course began. Completion of the course allows you to obtain a helmsman patent, the facility for yachts with an engine power of 60 KW on inland waters and marine waters in the zone of 2 nautical miles from shore in the daytime.
Groups of students, the high proportion of firefighters, over the weekend 18.-20.03 underwent intensive theoretical training (25 h) before a week to start the practical construction and maneuvering a motor boat. Practical exercises are conducted on the Oder River by an experienced instructor. With the successful activities of the Centre, the current Powerboat Steersman is the first such course to OSRM conducted independently from other centers. Course price is 350 Pln and can be negotiated.
Also over the weekend 18-20.03., took place, enjoying a great interest, “Loading and unloading of goods on container ships,” a training included such issues such as BELCO loading program, validation, loading, stowage, stability and the preparation of the sequence of ballasting and de-ballasting of the ship. The attractiveness of the course, in addition to an interesting program, enhances the fact that this course is free of charge. This is one of five free courses offered by OSRM within the project financed by the European Union Human Capital.
