Polish President Bronislaw Komorowski, during Monday's ceremony at the Presidential Palace, handed in state awards to outstanding professors, university staff, among whom was a professor of the Maritime University of Szczecin, Boleslaw Mazurkiewicz
The President thanked the awarded professors for their ability, willingness to share with others their experience, skills and achievements, since without this no progress would be possible. He added that it is difficult to replace the mechanism that ensures the development - the ability, desire and willingness to share their experience. – ‘It is always the merited people that have been the crucial link in progress’. - said the president.
Boleslaw MAZURKIEWICZ was awarded with:
Grand Cross of the Order of Rebirth of Poland
in recognition of his outstanding achievements in scientific and educational work, for achievements in activities to protect Polish marine monuments, for his professional work and social activities undertaken for the benefit of the country.
