The World Maritime Days are an opportunity for meetings on the international level. Yet, there were also many opportunities for contacts with guests from Poland. On the occasion of this year's maritime conference, on Friday, 15th June, the Maritime University of Szczecin signed an agreement on cooperation with the Technical Secondary School of Inland Navigation in Wrocław.
Taking into consideration the real need for active performance of educational tasks within the scope of e.g. inland navigation, the university entered into an agreement with the school for the benefit of continuous improvement of educational quality in vocational fields of study.
Together with the school, we will take care of developing the cooperation between teachers and university lecturers as well as encourage students to pursue their interests in this area. The cooperation will also enable us to develop the need for continuation of the education on a higher level at MUS. Our teachers declared to provide their support in preparation of the school’s own curricula and their implementation. One of the most significant outcomes of this cooperation will also include undertaking of new educational projects and the use of innovative educational methods in practice.
