In the picturesque location on the city beach in Szczecin, our university was represented by two female pairs and two male ones. The 2 x 2 competition was held on the court, which is smaller in comparison to the indoor one. Regulations in beach volleyball are different from indoor volleyball, which demanded great skills of our representatives, playing indoor on a daily basis, as well as getting used to playing on sand. Additionally, strong wind did not make the game any easier.

Finally, following 4 matches played by each pair, the Maritime University achieved huge success winning the title of the West Pomerania female champion and male vice-champion.

Congratulations to our representatives on great sport results and wishes of success in the Polish Academic Championships to be held in the period 27-29 May on the city beach in Szczecin.
