On the 30.05.-04.06.2011 the Marine Rescue Training Centre organized the next edition of a free Motorboat Skipper Course financed due to the European Union project ‘Cała naprzód’/ ’Full astern’.
The group of 10 people, successfully recruited to take part in the course, had 3-day lectures on motorboat construction, navigation, rescuing, signaling and communication.
Apart from the lectures, the participants were provided with catering and the help of the MRTC personnel while filling in required documents in order to sit to an exam on Motorboat Skipper. Each of the participants also took part in practical drills of driving and maneuvering the motorboat. The course turned out the most popular one from all the free courses of ‘Cała naprzód’ project. Currently, volunteers can only apply for a place on the reserve list. It is worth mentioning, that the MRTC also organizes paid Motorboat Skipper courses – everyone is welcome.
