Maria Wasiak, the Minister of Infrastructure and Development visited the Maritime University of Szczecin during her short stay in Szczecin on 15th May 2015. She was presented with, inter alia, the University didactic infrastructure and planned projects for infrastructure development.
The Minister met with the University authorities who outlined the University’s potential and development directions as well as explained projects of upgrading and enlarging the premises at Willowa and Podgórna streets. The Minister visited also the Maritime Traffic Engineering Centre and the European LNG Training Centre which were particularly interesting for the guests with respect to training and up-skilling potential there is for the maritime personnel. The agenda of the visit included also a meeting with students from all faculties of the University.
