Maritime University has teamed up with two new Universities of Erasmus i.e. Fontys University Applied Sciences in the Netherlands and Okan University, Turkey
Fontys University of Applied Sciences, located in Eindoven, is one of the largest in the Netherlands. It has about 40 000 students and carries up to 100 fields of study. Every year, the college is visited by more than 150 students due to the student exchange of students studying in English. Established cooperation concerns the courses of Mechatronics and Computer Science and will be realized jointly with the Engineering College.
Okan University, located in Istanbul, has 12,000 students and most of the classes conducted in English. Among the 53 fields of the 1st degree study are equivalent Logistics and Management and Production Engineering, which shall enable our students of the same courses to apply for participation in the program.
The conclusion of bilateral agreements means that in 2013/14 (in the spring semester), students will be able to leave for colleges in the Netherlands and Turkey. The student recruitment shall start on April 22.
The established cooperation with the new partners is also an opportunity for Erasmus trips for both academic and administrative employees.
