This will be a special purpose company, Maritime University established to commercialize research results and development activities through the sale of the research results and development works as well as putting into use the rights to the research results and development, in particular on the basis of the license, rental and leasing agreement and related activities, as well as research and application by taking shares in companies or the creation of companies that are formed to implement or prepare to implement the results of research or development.

Its creation is a milestone in the process of technology transfer, i.e., in dealing with the economic institutions.

In addition to its primary objective, the Company will strive for regional development by creating favorable conditions for the growth of entrepreneurship with particular emphasis on high-tech industries and knowledge transfer from university to industry.

Mr. Konrad Frontczak was appointed the first Chairman of the Board.
