As a part of Poland's EU Presidency, the Ministry of Transport is looking for candidates - students or graduates of the Maritime University of Szczecin for assistance in organizing the meeting entitled "Green corridors - for a multimodal and sustainable transport system", which will be held on 21-22 September 2011, at the Hall of Structural Opera at the Pomeranian Princes’ Castle at Energetykow Str. in Szczecin (opposite the Euro-Afrika premises).
The task of the volunteers will be to support the organization of meetings, including Reception Desk, providing information, directing guests, help prepare the hall for distribution of materials to provide for visiting delegations during the event. Before the meeting it is planned to train volunteers in the field of knowledge and skills necessary to perform their tasks. Expectations concerning volunteers:
- English language skills at a level that allows easy communication
- orientation of the topography of the city
- communication skills, punctuality, manners The meeting organizer offers:
- gaining a unique experience and participation in the organization of meetings at the EU Council within the frames of the Polish Presidency
- an opportunity to learn the principles of organization of international meetings and conferences
- a friendly work atmosphere in an international environment
- The voluntary work shall be carried out on the basis of the agreement on the performance of voluntary services.
Participants will receive a certificate confirming participation in the conference.
