On 20th March 2014, Mr Jarosław Artyszuk, PhD and Senior deck officer, a member of staff of the Navigation Faculty, successfully passed his postdoctoral examination (habilitation colloquium) before the Council of the Transport Faculty at the Warsaw Technical University. As a result, he was granted the title of doktor habilitowany (Polish higher doctoral degree) in the field of technical sciences, area of transport.
His doctoral dissertation was entitled “Modeling and simulation of ship traffic as regards the issues of maneuvering safety and efficiency”.
