Council of the Faculty of Geodesy and Spatial Planning, University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, on May 7, 2013 as a result of the positive acceptance of the habilitation colloquium conferred the postdoctoral degree to Janusz Uriasz, PhD in the discipline of geodesy and cartography.
The main thesis presented at the colloquium included the issues presented in the monograph entitled ‘Determination of the ship’s safe navigation lane in the navigational information system’ published in Annual of Navigation.
Janusz Uriasz is a graduate of the Maritime University of Szczecin. From the beginning of his scientific and teaching work is associated with the Faculty of Navigation, Maritime University. Currently he is the head of the Institute of Marine Technology
