The first International Navigation Conference, organised by London Royal Institute of Navigation, was held between 23-26 February 2015 in Manchester, United Kingdom.
The conference was attended by over 200 researchers, representatives of administration and industry from all over the world. The papers presented focused on most recent research as well as applications of navigation systems, including GNSS in various areas of human activity. Much attention was given to navigation for aviation, marine and road travel purposes as well as indoor positioning.
Maritime University of Szczecin and its Faculty of Navigation was represented by Prof. Zbigniew Pietrzykowski with paper entitled: Decision Support in Collision Situations at Sea.
