Within the frames of "Development and promotion of technical studies in the Maritime University Project" Careers Office organizes the 15 placements in companies for students and graduates (i.e. those who received their MUS Diploma no longer than 6 months - starting from the date of participation in the internship).
Internships last for 3 months (the period from July 1 to October 1, 2011). During this period, working a minimum of 24 hours per week, you perform the duties specified in the contract, being under the patronage of the employee and get paid 1900 Pln per month. After completing the internship you get references from the company and attestation and ... perhaps an offer for further cooperation.
What should I do to get an internship?
- Download the application form and fill it in- download
- Bring the form to the dean’s office and ask them to fill in the appropriate boxes (also alumni).
- Gather the required certificates.
- Bring the form along with an index to the Careers Office (from 10:00 - 13:00).
- Wait for the announcement of the ranking list at the Careers Office and on the http://mechatronika.am.szczecin.pl
NOTE: Applications for internships are accepted until 10.06.2011 until 13:00.
What requirements must I meet to get an internship?
- Be a student or graduate of Maritime University
- Get as many points, which can be obtained;
- Being a final year student or graduate,
- The average score from the last year of study,
- Activity in the life of the university,
- Knowledge of foreign languages,
- Collection of maintenance grants,
- Being registered in a rural area,
- Meet the basic expectations of employers.
