On 17-19 November 2011in Brussels, the 60th Jubilee International Exhibition of Inventions, Research and New Technologies - INNOVA 2011 was held. During the fair over 20 countries worldwide presented hundreds of their inventions.
Maritime University of Szczecin presented “Pilot Navigation and Docking System (PNDs) for LNG Tankers and Sea Ferries’ by Prof. Lucjan Gucma and Maciej Gucma, PhD. It was created under the recently completed project “Construction of a dock-deluge system (PNDs) for LNG tankers and sea ferries” realized under the Operational Program Innovative Economy - priority 1.3.1.
Interesting stand, imaging presentation, and the substantive values of the present invention resulted in the Gold Medal and a commemorative diploma awarded to the Maritime University of Szczecin by the international jury. It is also valuable that the invention aroused the interest of potential buyers from the port of Antwerp and the ports of Africa.
