The course attendants, given the possibility of conning, navigating and maneuvering a ship on an up-to-date navigational simulator, which helped them to understand and get a better insight into yacht-vessel collision situations, in the future may significantly contribute to the maritime safety due to the acquired experience affecting their decisions made while sailing. Moreover, some classes, preceded by lectures and multi-media presentations, were held in GMDSS and ECDIS laboratories. The enthusiastic response of the course attendants’ has made SDKO /MOTC/ start a new recruitment for the next course edition. All willing to participate are heartily welcome.
