Ministry of Science and Higher Education organized a workshop dedicated to the European program Copernicus of Global Monitoring for Environment and Security (GMES). Workshops were held on 28 February. Training is co-organized by the European Space Agency (ESA). The workshop was attended by representatives of the companies of the space sector, academic institutions and research and administration, dealing with issues of Earth observation. The program includes, among others, issues related to the funding of the program, preparation of grant applications and seeking partners. Maritime University of Szczecin was represented by Maciej Gucma, PhD and Rafal Gralak, MSc.
