Maritime University of Szczecin, Center for Maritime Technology Transfer (CTTM) is looking for a consultant/specialist in technology transfer and international cooperation.
The person hired for this position shall be responsible, inter alia, for:
- Commercialization of research results,
- Analysis of markets, businesses, business/commercialization ideas,
- CTTM customers’ support in the development of their research/companies,
- Raising funds from external sources (e.g., EU funds) for the transfer of technology and the CTTM activity,
- Supporting MUS staff applying for external funds, in particular the European Territorial Cooperation programs: Polish - Norwegian Research Collaboration and Horizon 2020
- Supporting the development and implementation of research consortia,
- Organizing and conducting trainings, workshops and conferences;Conducting a consultation point of Horizon 2020 program;
- Activities related to the promotion of the Centre’s offer,
Mandatory Requirements:
- Higher education (technical preferred),
- English language: at least FCE level in writing and speaking,
- Experience in the application and implementation of projects based on funds for higher education support
- Knowledge of office software at an advanced level,
- Predispositions to conduct trainings and speaking in public,
- Motivation, strong commitment, goal-oriented attitude, the ability to work in a team,
- Ability to cope with stressful situations,
- At least one year experience of working in a manufacturing company or an institution providing advisory services,
Optional Requirements:
- Knowledge of issues related to intellectual property,
- Knowledge of other languages (German preferred in particular),
- Driving license: B category,
Working in a scientific institution would be an advantage.
