Laboratories of two MUS faculties in one place

The Foundation Act was signed by representatives of the Ministry of Infrastructure, the city of Szczecin and  MUS authorities including the Rector and the Deans of the Faculty of Mechatronics and Electrical Engineering and the Faculty of Marine Engineering, as the new facility will serve both of these faculties. After the speeches, the Foundation Act was placed in a dedicated metal tube inside the wall.

Construction works had started before the laying foundation stone, so the guests were able to see the already advanced - at the ground floor level - building site.

The new building will accommodate laboratories that have so far been located on the Chrobry Embankment, in the main MUS building. This will bring the entire facilities of both faculties to one location. The facility will include laboratories dedicated to mid-voltage, main engine electronic power control, and processing of data from training wind turbine located nearby. Construction is scheduled for completion in early 2025.
